 In 2002 I started 'Music in The Village', originally at St. Marys Church in Walthamstow Village E17, but concerts are now in St. Michael & All Angels,  Northcote Road  E17 6PQ.

Trevor Pinnock CBE gave our very first concert!

Music in the Village is not for profit, and it's

aim is to provide affordable concerts of the

highest standard.

Music in the Village is very grateful to               Katherine McGillivray's 'Get a Life Fund'                 for supporting the 21st season. (See below right)


2024 Concerts

Taking advantage of the warmer months,

concerts now run May through October.

Concerts take place on Wednesdays and start at 7.30pm - doors open 6.55pm

Glass of wine available before the concert

Music in the Village 2024 season

will commence with a free to enter event 

(but donations very gratefully received!) on

Wednesday March 27th 2024

François Couperin's beautiful

Leçons de Ténèbres

for two sopranos, organ and bass viol,           performed on the Holy Week day for which it was intended.

NOTE there will be no refreshments served at this event.

Couperin harpsichord music will be played between the Leçons.

Save your applause for the end of the performance!

Wonderful bass singer Jimmy Holliday and oboist Gail Hennessy in a programme including Bach and Roderick Williams.

Find the the Venue

St Michael and All Angels

Northcote Road, London E17 6PQ

Tube/Train:  St Michael's is a 10 minute walk from either Walthamstow Central or Blackhorse Rd. tube stations (Victoria line), and the overground station St. James Street.

Bus: Bus stop K on the W15, Palmerston Road

bus stop.

Car: There is no car park at the Church but street parking restrictions cease at 6.30pm.

From St. Michael & All Angels it's an easy step to the cafes and bars on Walthamstow High Street.


TICKETS are sold on the door.

£12  (£6  for students & seniors).

Concerts are 1 hour long.
