For St James' Baroque  I play violone and violone grosso, and sometimes large bass violin.

Here are London Viols, returning from playing in Mallorca, in 2018

For twenty four years, I was the bass player for the English Concert.  In 2003 I volunteered myself to manage St. James' Baroque and ended up running it ever since.  Be careful what you volunteer for!

When concerts are permitted to happen again, postponed concerts, including December's Salomon Quartet  concert, will be rescheduled as soon London returns to tier 2 - late March, perhaps; May, for sure (we hope).

Concerts this season will have no interval or refreshments and will last about 65 minutes.

February 3rd  most likely POSTPONED.

Viola-player for Daalamist4w

A new on-line premiere,  a piece I wrote in memory of Gustav Clarkson, written for Adam Römer on viola called Daalamist available to view.

I would like to salute Marcus Rashford MBE for the great work he has done this year.  I qualified for free school meals -  instrument loans & lessons were free too;  lucky for me.     Bravo Mr. Rashford - a very good candidate for the House of Lords!
