Paths to Bach.      

Music from 17th century Germany by Böhm, Froberger and Fischer leading to selections from Johann Sebastian Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier.

 

Trevor's most recent recording of suites by Louis Couperin will be on sale at this concert.   It was recorded on a Ioannes Ruckers harpsichord dated 1627 in the Flint Collection, USA.

 

June 20th 2018

Summer Solstice event at St. Michael and All Angels.

Over 700 candles lit as the sun goes down at 9.20pm.

60 minutes of peace with the sound of plain chant.

It's a free event!  

 

 

This season we have an artist-in-residence,

Walthamstow based Anna Alcock (from celebrated Inky Cuttlefish Studios), working in the gallery at each concert.  The art inspired by the concerts will

be shown at the end of the season.

Next season

It turns out that at least the first 4 concerts can take place at St. Marys' in our 2018-19 season.

London Viols & charismatic singer William Purefoy will start the season on October 4th.
