Satoko Doi-Luck wrote a lovely new piece for baroque oboe and string quartet called Fantasy. Another Music in the Village commission that received great praise from the audience.

For those who were not able to come but are still curious to know the identity of the 100th concert guest musician, it was violinist Jim O'Toole who serenaded the audience with folk tunes before the concert and played them out in the liveliest style afterwards AND joined in the last movement of our baroque music programme.
